Gemini Laser Systems
The LAP GEMINI provides two laser crosses that can be set 200mm, 250mm or 300mm apart. This single unit is designed to replace two lasers in a linac room:
- The laser at isocentre height
- The secondary laser that is used for faster and safer patient positioning in a lower couch position, as well as extended SSD treatments.
As with all LAP treatment room lasers, the precise adjustment elements allow each line to be projected to isocentre with an accuracy of ± 0.5 mm.
NB. As well as being faster and easier, setting up patients in a lower position will safeguard medical staff against back injuries associated with moving heavy patients on a high table.
